It was the year 2010, we had just arrived in Canada,

We had just left our country, Colombia, a country that produces a wide variety of fruits. A country where fruit juices accompany each meal and of which there is a huge diversity of fruits. Street vendors and small restaurants on every street corner offer delicious fresh fruit juices prepared before your eyes.

How did the idea for Smoothfruit come about? Recently arrived, we went to visit different summer festivals in Montreal and we noticed that there were not many healthy choices, so we said to ourselves: “why not make a truck for us walking around preparing smoothies with tropical and exotic fruits? We could make people taste the flavors of our country! So, there you go ... We started to design our trailer and develop our recipes by doing dozens of proofs to arrive at the perfect texture and flavor of each of our smoothies.

2011

Industrial designer, Marketing Specialist and entrepreneur since always and Edwin, my husband, graphic designer (who always follows my ideas, my desires and my follies), started to participate in festivals all over Quebec . Sometimes it worked, sometimes really not ... but we went anyway! We knew that starting a new business in a new country for us would not be easy, but we always said to ourselves: "We work, we learn, we improve and then we continue! "

After a few years and a lot of effort, we started to promote Smoothfruit through the quality of our smoothies and our customer service. Now and for almost 10 years, our smoothies continue to be prepared throughout the year at festivals, parties, business meetings, sports competitions and all kinds of events in front of thousands of people and hundreds of companies!

All of these experiences are those that matter most to us, to our learning, to move forward, to never give up!

Our goal has remained the same from the start: to facilitate a healthy and nutritious diet as a lifestyle and as a daily routine for people.
